Andy Vanes

This kitchen definitely has curve appeal! It was a project close to our hearts as it was renovating the kitchen of our first house for its new owner. Andy’s kitchen was small, with little natural light and he found it difficult to work in. He wanted a kitchen that worked around his lifestyle and better reflected his personality.

Andy had a good idea of what he wanted the kitchen to look like, and together I feel that we have achieved this with a modern retro look and curvy lines.

First of all a wall between the downstairs cloakroom and the kitchen was removed to allow more space. The floor was taken up and replaced with new Karndean floor. The feeling of space was something that was crucial to this kitchen. Andy didn’t want lots of wall units closing up the kitchen. Instead made to measure curved base units and doors help to create a more contemporary feel. Andy has injected a pop of colour with a bright red splash back complementing the three pendant lights.

This kitchen shows stone grey j handle doors, white quartz worktop, and Karndean tile flooring.
